Envision Physician Services is seeking Emergency Medicine Program Director to lead the ACGME accredited residency training program at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI.
Requirements: BC ABOEM or ABEM, EM residency trained, 5 years minimum experience as teaching faculty in an ACGME accredited EM residency program, 3 years minimum documented educational and/or leadership experience.
The Program Director of the Emergency Medicine Residency is responsible for the leadership, organization, operation, and the general administration of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program sponsored by St. Mary Mercy Hospital. The Program Director establishes the strategic direction of the program and is responsible for the standards, quality and reputation of the Emergency Medicine residency program. The Program Director is expected to integrate the Emergency Medicine residency program with physician practices and hospital clinical services in a manner that enhances value and quality, and that promotes an optimal environment for professional practice. This position reports to the Designated Institutional Official and has a collaborative reporting relationship to the Chair and Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine.

St. Mary Mercy is committed to using the most recent technology and diagnostic services include Open Bore Magnetic Resonance Imaging, 64-slice CT Scanning, Photon Emission Tomography, Primary Emergency Angioplasty, digital mammography, lung CT scanning and da Vinci Robotic Surgery. St. Mary Mercy has also received numerous awards recognizing excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, and efficiency.
